Dermot Meagher Art Work
Artist Statement:
My mother was an artist. When I was a child I thought her drawings were miracles. I have drawn and painted all my life but became more serious when I lost sight in my right eye in 1995. It was either then or never.
For a long time I only drew and painted with Japanese Sumi Ink. Recently-the past three years-I've used color, Japanese Watercolor Ganzai, which I find more vibrant than western Watercolors. I also use pastels. My work has shown for many years at Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown MA. For more information contact me at tomred101@aol.com.
